From 2013 to 2015, it seemed like this young woman conquered the media. She seemed to be everywhere. Chilling at London celebrity hotspot restaurant Chak89 with Hrithik Roshan, the hottest Bollywood actor, in a television ad for the restaurant; doing a Friday run with Olie White and Marcus Butler for Volvic water; being the face of a Lycamobile free-call campaign for CIS countries; introducing innovative tech for the world’s leader in mind-controlled videos and movies MyndPlay; falling in love in MC Neat’s music video. Whether you watched TV or surfed YouTube, there’s a pretty good chance that you’ve seen her on your screen. And that was just the beginning.

She landed a lead role in Dan Sowter’s feature Sya’s Summer and is the star of the upcoming Palatable by Shane Hart. But Inna Bagoli doesn’t seem to be stuck in one place, constantly moving around and working on international productions.

“I am a storyteller… Art is my air, and I go no matter how far it calls me if I believe it’s worth it”, says Bagoli’s official website. And indeed she does: over the last 2 years, she’s been collaborating on a number of international projects. In 2016, Inna was a part of a British-Ukrainian modern day adaptation of Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida. The play not only was acclaimed in Ukraine but also came back to the UK as a radio drama that played at the UK International Radio Drama Festival earlier this year.

She then got offered another star role in Flawless, a short film by Shane Hart, which became a UK-Ukrainian production. “Inna has that unique ability to get deep into your inner world in her performances, because she’s sharing her entire bare soul with you when she acts,” says Shane Hart. “She comes from Ukraine and she’s lived in the UK for a long time. She was leaving Kiev when her country was at peace and got back to see it in a war-torn state. There’s no one else who’d come to my mind but Inna Bagoli who could tell the story we want to tell to the world about the depth of sorrow one experiences when the country is forced into an armed conflict.”

If you thought Bagoli went quiet over the last few months, you were wrong.  The British-Ukrainian discovery seems to be busy like never before, discussing possible roles in Hollywood productions and training for something that looks like an intense action movie. Her social media only gives a glance at the actress’ training explaining that she’s signed a nondisclosure agreement on her next project and can’t share more until it’s time to do so.

Well, it does look big. She didn’t take a break even when going on a family holiday to Europe.
