HUBZone Certification to provide economic growth in Historically Underutilized Business Zones

WASHINGTON, DC, January 31, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — Automated Resource Management Associates, or ARMA, Inc., an information technology professional services firm announced today that it has been certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to participate in the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. As part of this and other SBA contracting programs, Federal agencies strive to maintain 3% of all annual contracts as set-aside for certified small businesses, which provides ARMA, as a WBENC certified woman-owned, SBA economically disadvantaged and HUBZone certified, with increased opportunities when pursuing specified Federal IT contracts.

This certification will allow us to help federal procurement and contracting offers achieve their set-aside targets, while also creating jobs and economic development in the historically underutilized business zones in this country.

ARMA started as a small business owned owned by a minority woman. Today, with nearly 30 years of experience, ARMA is a multi-million dollar company that thrives by providing best-in-class technology solutions at competitive prices. Tomi Bannister, President and CEO of ARMA said, “We are thrilled to be recognized as a qualified IT firm eligible to part of the HUBZone program; we look forward to serving many more companies as a result of the certification.”
